About Percy / PJ

Ollie Photography, Inc. was founded by Percy Ollie Jr. in 2008. Percy earned his Bachelor of Finance degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Percy began shooting images as a personal hobby in college, documenting enjoyable moments with friends. "I remember the first time I actually picked up a camera after my roommate came back with some equipment for his class. I was amazed and couldn't put the camera down!" Additionally, Percy recalls that his family didn't have many pictures either from gatherings and he wanted to document every moment. After fulfilling a number of requests to shoot certain events, Ollie Photography, Inc. was born. "I was blessed to utilize my degree in Finance to start my own business which still thrives today." This year marks the 10th year of Ollie Photography, Inc. remaining in business.

Some of Percy’s most most memorable moments include working in conjunction with Halleemah Nash and Dwayne Wade during All Star weekend in Los Angeles: taking the before and after shots of a gymnasium he re-designed for a school in an impoverished neighborhood; Flying out to Florida with DuPont to document some of the most brilliant 7th & 8th grade student science fair winners from across the globe as they went behind the scenes and toured the grounds of NASA; Flying out to the Bahamas to shoot a weekend wedding with the backdrop being the Caribbean ocean. Each of these experiences, and countless others, illustrate the eclecticism that defines the approach of Ollie Photography, Inc.

His vision for the company is to hopefully one day pass it down to his two amazing sons, Noah & Jackson.
