On Friday, June 24, 2011 YMEN hosted their Second Annual Press Conference and Neighborhood celebration. During the celebration YMEN unveiled their new Sports Court and YMEN Clubhouse on the 2200 S Avers Block In North Lawndale--the culmination of a 3 year capital campaign and tireless hours building a NEW model for SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

This area will have space for basketball, volleyball, tennis and badminton! It will also have a clubhouse with meeting space and Chicago's first Neighborhood 'Skybox' overlooking the arena! Together, the Campus is home to a residence for 4 emerging leaders, has an urban garden, a sports court, a recreational park, and a Leadership Home for YMEN Executive staff.

Public officials including: Illinois State Rep. Arthur L. Turner Jr and Congressman Danny Davis. Other guests came out from the Philanthropic and Corporate community in Chicago, including the United Way, The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Steans Family Foundation, KeHE Foods, CMT Asset Management and more.
