Monday, June 27, 2011 was the first day at the Swish Dreams Summer Basketball, Math, and Reading Camp. Special invited guest Tony Allen of the Memphis Grizzlies stopped by Arthur Ashe Elementary School to help kick off the camp. Tony shared some encouraging words with the kids about working hard in school as well as his Chicago upbringing and how he overcame many obstacles to reach his dream of reaching the NBA.
