Project SPLIT Workshop Featuring Joe Abraham
On Friday, April 13, 2012 Percy Ollie & YMEN hosted another edition of Project SPLIT at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Special guest Joe Abraham, a keynote on topics related to entrepreneurship and free enterprise intrigued the audience as he explained his experiences working with entrepreneurs and identifying the 4 behavioral groups in the entrepreneurial eco-system and proceeded to call it BOSI (for Builder, Opportunist, Specialist and Innovator).
Joe runs bosiDNA.com (a b-2-b digital marketing platform) and BOSI Performance Institute.
Project SPLIT is an initiative of the Young Men’s Educational Network that seeks to further cultivate the potential of Chicago’s next generation of male leadership in the African-American community. Project SPLIT holds quarterly lunch-time seminars that expose young professionals to national and internationally known leaders that have proven success records in their respective fields who are willing to make an investment in the next generation of leadership by sharing their wisdom and insight.
SPLIT is purposely designed to be a small, intimate setting where top level professionals can interface with outstanding younger leadership. The goal is to create a social networking forum where ideas can be discussed, experiences can be shared, relationships can be built that will result in transformational leadership that will seek to invest in the lives of others. Participants will be offered professional guidance, small business and entrepreneurial support, career counsel, professional mentoring, exposure to national leaders, service opportunities, and a host of best practice strategies for personal and professional effectiveness.
