Friday April 1st 2011 - The 2nd Annual Swish Dreams Fundraiser at Le Fleur de Lis (Chicago); 100% of the proceeds went to the benefit of Swish Dreams expansion to the west side of Chicago and to provide scholarships for their 2011 Summer Math, Basketball, and Reading Camp. Founded and operated by national/local Award winning teacher, Joshua Mercer on the South Side of Chicago in 2006, Swish Dreams Sports & Educational Foundation has exposed over 500 children to a "Swish Education," which uses sports as a vehicle to teach youth Math, Writing, Speaking, Technology Reading, Health, and Social Skills.
